She is the founder of Stop Tripping Crusade: a large, influential, non-denominational, youth outreach ministry. She is also the founder of Sister, I Got Your Back: an empowering, spiritual, social women’s ministry that compels women to find healing from past hurts through the encouragement of each other. Evangelist Brown was given the great honor to receive an Honorary Doctorate degree from Anointed by God Theological Seminary in March 2014 "Doctorate of Ministry." She is currently an active member of the Beth-el COGIC in West Hempstead, NY. She serves humbly alongside her husband who she will often refer to as her "Blessing." "GOD made me a promise and he is the manifestation of a promise kept. She is the author of the book entitled: The Year of the Sister challenge-30 ways in 30 days to empower, encourage and support other women. She is currently completing her book entitled "A Missionary's Daughter- The Good, The Bad and The Promise.” Ericka is also an active member in the Church of God In Christ. She serves as the Vice President for the Eastern 1st Region International Music Department, Coordinator of the Young Adult Ministry of the East Region Youth Department, Praise and Worship Coordinator of the New York First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and she also works with the Church of God In Christ International Music Department in the finance department. Ericka Riggins-Brown was saved and received the Holy Ghost at the age of seven. Like the prodigal son, she left the church years later. In many of her sermons and empowerment seminars, Ericka is open about her fall from grace and self-destruction, in an effort to teach others about GOD's transforming power. Her life scripture is: Psalms 119:17 – “It was good that I have been afflicted; that I may learn thy statues”; from teenage pregnancy, homelessness, abuse and three failed suicide attempts; she considers herself an overcomer. She is very transparent about her life. She often says "GOD, allowed me to survive to be a witness to someone else that there is no low that he can't reach". Her style has been described as hard hitting, real and straightforward. Ericka Riggins-Brown continues to be an inspiration to many young women and men. Her voice reaches the lost, forgotten and voiceless; with a clear message of salvation and wholeness. She is passionate about helping those looking to discover their purpose in life, and launch into their destiny. It’s obvious that "she understands, she’s been there, and she knows how to get out.” She is a dedicated wife, mother, daughter and sister. She has dedicated her life to ministry. She is often heard saying "I refuse to let my living be in vain, I owe God to much".
